This policy, and its related policies, ensure the safe participation in School Sport Victoria events.
'Safety Guidelines for Children and Young People in Sport and Recreation' is latest Sports Medicine Australia's information and includes information sports injury prevention. Its main aim is to help reduce the frequency and severity of sport and recreational injuries, as a means of encouraging and maintaining greater participation in physical activity.
Promoting safer sport and recreation messages through the development, distribution and delivery of effective training, education and health promotion resources focused on injury prevention and management. These include:
