SSV Participation Data
Our purpose is to develop young people through school sport and support schools to maximise opportunities for every student to play. By recording accurate participation data, we Value the efforts of students and schools, and Connect our sporting achievements with the wider Victorian community.
This page is strictly for the use of SSV Division Coordinators.
How to Submit Your Data
To ensure we accurately capture every student's journey—including those in mainstream and multiclass programs—please follow these steps:
- Collect: Gather participation numbers from your District Coordinators.
- Combine: Add the numbers together to create a total for teams and individuals across each sport.
- Enter: Provide data as whole numbers for the lowest level the sport was conducted.
Reporting Special Cases
We know that not every sport runs as planned. If a sport was not available or was affected by weather, use the following numerical codes:
Code | Meaning |
.001 | This sport is not offered at the Division level. |
.002 | This sport is normally offered but was cancelled this year due to weather. |

Helpful Tools for Division Coordinators
We have created a dedicated spreadsheet to help you capture and organise data from your District Coordinators before you submit it.
- Google Drive: Make a copy to your own Google Drive (you must be logged into your Google account).
- Download Formats: View the spreadsheet and select 'File' then 'Download' to save as an Excel file or other format.
