Volleyball
Volleyball is played at both primary and secondary school levels as part of the School Sport Victoria (SSV) interschool program. Students have the opportunity to participate in local competitions and progress through to the State Championships.
Ready to serve and spike? Volleyball is a key part of our interschool program, offering students the chance to compete, connect, and have fun. We conduct competitions and State Final for both Primary and Secondary school levels.
Competition Pathway
In the primary pathway school teams can progress from matches with local schools through to the State Championship:
District > Division > Region > State
And for secondary schools, the pathway allows progression through three levels:
Division > Region > State
Age Groups
SSV offer competitions for the following age groups:
- Primary: Girls and Boys/Mixed
- Year 7: Girls and Boys/Mixed
- Year 8: Girls and Boys/Mixed
- Intermediate (Years 9 and 10): Girls and Boys/Mixed
- Senior (Years 11 and 12): Girls and Boys/Mixed
