School Sport Australia (SSA) presents the SSA Track and Field Championships on an annual basis.

Update to Team Vic 10–12 Years Track and Field team selection in 2026
In 2026, the Team Vic 10-12 Years Track and Field Team will be selected at the State Primary Track and Field Championships. The team will be selected by the Team Officials selection committee.
In 2026, there will not be a separate selection trial event for the Team Vic 10-12 years Track and Field team.
This approach aligns with previous selection practices for this team and is possible again in 2026 due to the timing of the School Sport Australia Track and Field Championships being held later in 2026 (29 November to 3 December).
