School Sport Australia (SSA) present annually the SSA Golf Championships.
School Sport Victoria enters one representative team in each of the following SSA Golf Championships:
- 12 Years and Under Boys
- 12 Years and Under Girls
- 18 Years and Under Boys
- 18 years and Under Girls
These championships offer gifted and talented students
the opportunity to participate in higher levels of sporting competition against
students from other Australian States and Territories.
Participation in a School Sport Victoria Team Vic state team is self
funded. As a guide it may cost between $1,500-$2,500 to
participate. Costs may include uniforms, host state levies, flights,
transport, accommodation and meals. Costs will vary depending on the
location of the Championship.
Players who wish to be considered for selection for the Team Vic State Golf Teams will participate in trial rounds according to the selection guidelines. Golf Victoria have partnered with SSV to conduct the interschool program and to advise in relation to selection for Team Vic teams.
