The 2021 SSV State Swimming Championships are being held this year on two separate days (rather than the usual combined Primary and Secondary event).

The Secondary Championships are on Thursday, April 22 & the Primary Championships are on Monday, April 26.

The program consists of individual events in each of the four major swimming strokes, also freestyle relay events for each age group and medley relay races in a smaller number of age groups.​

All State events are listed prior to the date of the event in the Event Calendar located on the right hand side panel. Each event will contain the venue, convenor, rules, information, draws/schedule & results. Results can be accessed post event by using the State Results link or by going to the State Event Calendar Section & selecting the date of the event.

Important Information - SSV State Swimming Championships 64{8ba673e6-5df2-4c0c-bf92-30ef694098d0}Important Information - SSV State Swimming Championships 7/04/2021 2:03:43 AM<div class="ExternalClassAEACC0FABE5944358FAC5A6464B934AC"><p>Congratulations on qualifying for the SSV State Swimming Championships.<br></p><p>See below for important information for <strong style="text-decoration:underline;">all</strong> persons attending the upcoming SSV State Swimming Championships in the Outdoor Pool at the Melbourne Sports Aquatic Centre (MSAC), Aughtie Drive, Albert Park – <a href="">Secondary: Thursday, April 22</a> & <a href="">Primary: Monday, April 26</a> see these date links to the event calendar for the rules, program of events & records & for <a href="">Results</a></p><p><strong>Recording Attendance</strong></p><p><span style="text-decoration:underline;">All</span> attendees including all participants (ie. that is all attending the event - student swimmers, teachers, parents, guardians, spectators, officials etc) must register using the <strong>Melbourne Sports Centres QR </strong><strong>Code</strong> to record attendance on entry to MSAC via a simple online registration.</p><p><strong>Social Distancing & Masks</strong></p><p>If you are 12 years & older remember to have a mask with you in the event that you cannot socially distance 1.5m. </p><p>All entry & exit is via the Outdoor pool entry. Access to MSAC Aquatics is through the <strong>Aquatics Reception</strong>, across from the Multi-Deck Carpark & also opposite Sports House.</p><p><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>Doors Open</strong></span></p><p>The doors will not open until 9:00am. Please note the Level 1 and 2 footbridge entrances from the Multi-Deck Carpark to MSAC remain closed in order to maintain MSAC's visitor records at key entries. All visitors are required to register their attendance for contact tracing purposes with the QR codes provided upon entry. </p><p><strong>Cost of entry</strong></p><p>The Entry fee is $5 for adult spectators. Competitors, Children and Teachers (with a V.I.T. card or School ID) will be admitted free</p><p><strong>Car Parking</strong></p><p>There is metered parking in the Lakeside Car Park and Albert Drive. The costs are $5.20/hour or All Day parking costs $13.00 (meters take coins only and do not give change). Alternatively, car parking at MSAC (multi story & southern car parks) is free for the first hour, then $5.20 per hour or part thereof. Please note that information is correct at the time of printing. For more detailed information - <a href="">Plan Your Visit - Melbourne Sports Centres – Venues</a> </p><p><strong>Warm Up Time</strong></p><p>Competitors will have access to the competition pool from 9:15am until 10:00am to warm up. </p><p>SSV will have three lanes in the indoor pool available for warming up and cooling down during competition. The indoor pool is accessible from the mezzanine foyer.</p><p><strong>Marshalling</strong></p><p>Pre-event marshalling for all swimmers is at the rear of the grandstand on the upper level</p><p>NB.
