​​​​​​School Sport Victoria (SSV) offers tennis programs for students of all ages and talent levels. Whether you are picking up a racquet for the first time or competing at a high level, our interschool competitions focus on skill development, teamwork, and fun.

Competition Pathway

In the primary pathway school teams can progress from matches with local schools through to the State Final:

District > Division > Region > State

And for secondary schools, the pathway allows progression through three levels:

Division > Region > State

Primary School Competition

Hot Shots Team Event SSV primary program features the Hot Shots Team Event. This format uses smaller courts, lighter racquets, and low-compression balls to ensure every student can enjoy the game and stay active. It is a fantastic way for students to represent their school in a supportive team environment.

Girls and Boys Competitions The secondary program offers structured competitions for both boys and girls. These events provide a comprehensive competitive experience by combining:

• Singles matches to test individual skill and strategy.
• Doubles matches to encourage communication and teamwork.
