SSV conducts annual State Finals for various age groups. These competitions use specific formats designed to maximise engagement and skill development.

Competition Pathway

In the primary pathway school teams can progress from matches with local schools through to the State Final:

District > Division > Region > State

And for secondary schools, the pathway allows progression through three levels:

Division > Region > State

Age Groups

  • Primary Level (Fully Loaded Slow Pitch):
    • Girls
    • Boys/Mixed
  • Secondary Level (Fully Loaded Fast Pitch):

For educators looking to implement or enhance these programs within their schools, the Softball Victoria Guide to Running a Successful School Softball Program is a valuable resource for coaching and administration.
