Netball
School Sport Victoria (SSV) provides exciting netball opportunities for students of all abilities across Victoria. Whether you are playing for your school or aiming to represent the state, there is a pathway for you to play, connect, and excel.
The Netball State Finals are the pinnacle of school-based competition. These events are open to both primary and secondary schools, fostering a fun and competitive environment for all students.
Competition Pathway
In the primary pathway school teams can progress from matches with local schools through to the State Final:
District > Division > Region > State
And for secondary schools, the pathway allows progression through three levels:
Division > Region > State
Age Groups
Schools can enter netball teams in the following age groups:
- Primary: Girls and Boys/Mixed.
- Year 7: Girls and Boys/Mixed.
- Year 8: Girls and Boys/Mixed.
- Intermediate (Years 9 and 10): Girls and Boys/Mixed.
- Senior (Years 11 and 12): Girls and Boys/Mixed.
