SSV provides a comprehensive hockey program for both primary and secondary students, offering competitive interschool pathways across Victoria. SSV also provides Team Vic opportunities.
School Sport Victoria (SSV) offers hockey interschool sport programs for both primary and secondary school.
Competition Pathway
How far can your school team go? In the primary pathway school teams can progress from matches with local schools through to the State Final:
District > Division > Region > State
And for secondary schools, the pathway allows progression through three levels:
Division > Region > State
Age Groups
Schools can enter hockey teams in the following age groups:
- Primary: Girls and Boys/Mixed.
- Year 7: Girls and Boys/Mixed.
- Year 8: Girls and Boys/Mixed.
- Intermediate (Years 9 and 10): Girls and Boys/Mixed.
- Senior (Years 11 and 12): Girls and Boys/Mixed.
