Interschool Victoria, a branch of Equestrian Victoria, helps families and schools navigate competition pathways. These events are open to all students from Prep to Year 12, catering to both entry-level and elite riders.
Competitions follow Equestrian Australia rules and guidelines across four main disciplines:
- Dressage
- Jumping
- Eventing
- Show Horse
Competition Pathways and Championships
Do you have students ready to compete at the state or national level? SSV and Equestrian Victoria provide clear pathways for dedicated riders.
Victorian Equestrian Interschool Series (VEIS)
The VEIS consists of Dressage and Show Jumping competitions hosted by various schools and organisations throughout Victoria. This series concludes with a Grand Final event at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre (WPNEC) in June.
State and Australian Championships
Equestrian Victoria conducts the State Championships in April each year. These events serve as a primary pathway for students to be selected for the Victorian Team. Successful riders move on to compete at the Australian Interschool Championships, which are hosted in a different state each year during September and October.
