Badminton

Badminton is available exclusively at the Secondary school level within the School Sport Victoria (SSV) interschool program.

School Sport Victoria (SSV) provides opportunities for students to participate in badminton in secondary school. 

Competition Pathway

State Championships are conducted by SSV and provide a pathway for secondary school teams to play against other schools and progress through to the State Final:

Division > Region > State

Age Groups

Participating schools can compete in the following age groups:

  • Year 7: Girls and Boys/Mixed
  • Year 8: Girls and Boys/Mixed
  • Intermediate (Years 9 to 10): Girls and Boys/Mixed
  • Senior (Years 11 to 12): Girls and Boys/Mixed
