SSV Play aims to engage less active students and those not currently participating in interschool sport, through a variety of sport and physical activities.
School Sport Victoria has partnered with Reclink Australia to provide a free SSV School Games program at your school as part of SSV Play in Term 3 and Term 4, 2022.
Do your students love downball? Well, they are going to love Roundnet!
SSV School Games gives your students the chance to try new SSV School Games and experience a twist on the old favorites students know and love. SSV School Games sessions are designed to be fun and have a social, non-competitive focus.
The activities will be tailored for primary and secondary students and will be inclusive of students from all backgrounds, genders, and abilities.
SSV School Games will bring energy and excitement to your school recess and lunch times!
SSV School Games will be delivered at your school in your school gym, schoolyard, or any other space that works.
Schools will be able to choose up to two SSV School Games activities for their students to participate in.
Reclink coordinators will deliver the program on two separate school days. On each day up to four one-hour sessions (for up to 25 students each session) will be offered with a maximum of 100 students being able to participate.
Day one - gives the students the chance to try their first SSV School Games activity.
Day two - will be for the same 100 students to try another SSV School Games activity.
Schools and students will be provided with some practice activities after each session. These activities are simple, don't need special equipment, and can be played with friends during recess, lunchtime or at home.
Be quick to secure one of these limited sessions! All you need to do is enter your details into the expression of interest form below and SSV will be in touch.
Please note: Government, low-fee non-government schools and those schools that have yet to participate in an SSV Play opportunity in 2022 will be prioritised.
