  1. This is a subsidy only and is not intended to provide schools with a full reimbursement of costs for schools attending the SSV State Championships.
  2. Travel support will be available to schools travelling to the SSV state team finals, competition categories and age groups:

  1. Cross Country (Team), Swimming and Track and Field Relay Teams are not eligible.
  2. All Claims must be submitted No More Than 60 Days From the Date of the Event. No claims will be accepted after the end of the calendar year ie 31 December.
  3. Claims, with the appropriate documentation, will be individually assessed by SSV and any payments made to the school at the discretion of SSV.

  The following supporting documentation must also be loaded No More Than 60 Days From the Date of the Event:

  1. In cases where a bus is hired, a copy of the account from the bus company indicating trip details and the number of kilometres travelled.
  2. In cases where a school vehicle is used, a copy of the School Vehicle Log Book Entry (indicating type of vehicle, dates and odometer readings) signed by the Principal
  3. In cases where a private car is used, a letter of endorsement from the Principal indicating dates, destinations and odometer readings.

  It is preferred that schools submit a separate online application each trip.

  For any vehicle claim: No claim to be made for the first 100 km per trip (bus or car). Claims can be made for up to two buses per State Team Championship. Schools may wish to submit to SSV a written request for special consideration for any further subsidy.

  The invoice submitted must:

  1. Be addressed to the Department of Education, School Sport Victoria, 189 Urquhart Street, Coburg 3058
  2. School bank details
  3. The name of the State Championship attended eg Primary Girls Tee Ball
  4. The date and venue of the State Championship
  5. Total being claimed and rate used

• D: Special Consideration

  1. Schools may apply for special consideration where the cost and/or distance travel and/or extreme circumstances warrant the application.
  2. In cases where special consideration is given when it is not feasible to travel by vehicle (bus or car), an invoice for the mode of transport used, a letter of endorsement from the Principal indicating dates, destinations and the reason this mode of transport was used.
  3. The amount reimbursed is at the discretion of the SSV Chief Executive Office
