School Sport Victoria congratulates the students, teachers, and officials who proudly represented Team Vic at the School Sport Australia (SSA) Games, held across venues in Melbourne from 25 to 31 July 2026.
Through the prestigious Team Vic program, SSV provides a pathway for talented Victorian primary and secondary students to represent the state across 19 sports. Competing against student athletes from across the nation, the annual SSA Games give students a unique opportunity to build life skills, foster lifelong friendships, and experience high-level competition in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Unforgettable Experiences On and Off the Field
The SSA Games provided our student athletes with memories to last a lifetime. Beyond the thrill of competition, students embraced key elements of the Team Vic program, including leadership, teamwork, fair play and mutual respect.
Off the court and field, student athletes immersed themselves in Melbourne's rich sporting culture. Highlights included the championship team experience to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) where the students and team officials were treated to a behind the scenes tour of the venue, followed by an immersive experience at the Australian Sports Museum.

- Football / Soccer (18 Years and Under): Girls and Boys teams
- Hockey (15 Years and Under): Girls and Boys teams
