Team Vic Shines at the School Sport Australia Games!
What an incredible performance by our student-athletes at the recent School Sport Australia Games held across Brisbane, Moreton Bay, and Bribie Island! School Sport Victoria extends a huge congratulations to every student who proudly represented Team Vic.
We are incredibly proud to highlight some outstanding achievements from the Games:
- 71 medals won by our talented Victorian athletes.
- 24 students earned All-Australian selections, a testament to their exceptional skills.
- 12 out of 13 teams placed in the Top 3 for their respective team events, showcasing incredible teamwork and dedication.
The Games also provided an opportunity to recognise some of our key contributors:
Kingsley Dalgleish and Nadine Roach were both honoured with 10-Year Service Awards for their long-standing commitment.
Lisa Wolfe was presented with the Daryl Bell Award for Outstanding Fair Play in Basketball, a true testament to her sportsmanship.
These Games are more than just a competition; they are a powerful celebration of talent, dedication, and the important role sport plays in education.
