School Sport Victoria, as part of the Department of Education and Training, delivers an extensive school sport program to primary and secondary students across Victoria.
School Sport Victoria provides opportunities for students to represent Victoria, under the banner of Team Vic, where 6000 students try out for an opportunity to be selected in a team. Approximately 900 students each year are selected to represent Team Vic in 19 different sports at the School Sport Australia Championships.
Many students who have been selected in Team Vic State Teams have continued on into elite-level sport.
The School Sport Victoria Team Vic program is about making emerging student-athletes better people.
We have compiled a list of AFL players who have come through the Team Vic Pathway.
SSV recognise that some of these players may not be selected for the Grand Final Game, none the less they are part of the team.
