Together, SSV and AFL Vic are making Australian Football more accessible for more students through modified rules. This is consistent with SSV’s Strategic Directions 2020 to 2030 to align competition rules with State Sporting Organisations.
Head of AFL Victoria, Greg Madigan, said: "The changes are designed to provide a better student experience for all participants, including seeing more touches of footy, more goals, and with players constantly involved in the game. It also enables more students and schools, including multiple teams from schools, to experience SSV primary school footy and to provide the best experience possible to assist with their enjoyment and lifelong connection to footy."
