Victorian Teachers Games Set to Kick Off in Latrobe Valley

The Victorian Teachers’ Games are set to return to the Latrobe Valley this weekend, bringing together educators from across the state for a four-day celebration of sport, recreation, and wellness. 

The games will be held in Latrobe Valley from Sunday, 22 to Wednesday, 25 September.

Over 30 sporting, recreation, wellness, and social activities will be on offer across more than 70 sessions. Participants can compete in a variety of sports, including Amazing Race, Dodgeball, Golf, Netball, Lawn Bowls, Tenpin Bowling and more. There will also be opportunities for social activities and relaxation.

The games has attracted a large number of participants who have registered from schools across Victoria. Over 1500 medals are up for grabs, the competition is sure to be fierce.

The games are not just about winning. They are also about promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, fostering camaraderie and building school-pride among educators, and celebrating the teaching profession.
