School Sport Victoria is pleased to announce new partnerships with AFL Victoria, Softball Victoria, and Tennis Victoria. These partnerships are important in supporting the range of school sport opportunities provided across these sports whilst consolidating the importance of school sport for SSV's partners.

Ben Kavanagh, Head of AFL Victoria, said: "Australian football has been a huge part of schools in Victoria for generations and will continue to be. The work School Sport Victoria does in promoting and helping to grow the game is a significant part of this.

"AFL Victoria is pleased to continue to partner with SSV and support the delivery of school football competitions, which help ensure schools, students and teachers across the state remain closely connected to Australian football and can participate in our great game."

Nick Frayne, National Participation Manager - Softball Australia, said:  "We are excited to be partnering with SSV to deliver Softball and Teeball programs in schools throughout Victoria. School sport is a critical aspect of Softball Australia's National Participation Plan and this partnership solidifies our investment in growing participation and getting more Victorian students involved in school Softball and Teeball and transitioning to our community clubs.

"The timing of this partnership couldn't be better with a brand-new participation product suite to be launched nationally in the coming months focusing on providing fun, positive softball experiences through modified games and inclusive formats including Teeball.

"We look forward to continuing our work with SSV including supporting the network of SSV coordinators and Victorian teachers."

Adam Crameri, CEO Tennis Victoria, said: "Tennis Victoria is pleased to continue our long term partnership with SSV. Our purpose is to create safe, inclusive thriving tennis communities enabling more people to play more often, the initiatives we deliver in partnership with SSV across the Victorian school network is integral to this."
