School Sport Victoria partners with the Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund
School Sport Victoria (SSV) is pleased to announce a partnership with the Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund (SESF) for 2022.
The SESF will provide 35 scholarships, valued at $1,000 each, to Victorian students selected to represent Victoria at School Sport Australia Championships through the Team Vic program.
The scholarships support financially disadvantaged Victorian students, to reduce costs as a barrier to participation, and supports students who would otherwise not be able to participate at the Championships.
Nick Mooney, Executive Director, SESF, said: “The Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund is proud to provide financial scholarships to support Victorian students in the Team Vic program to participate in the School Sport Australia Championships.”
The partnership with the SESF is incredibly important for School Sport Victoria, to enable participation in the Team Vic program to be inclusive, accessible, and more affordable for all Victorian students and families.
