SSV is delighted to announce a 3-year partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) enabling students selected in a Team Vic team to set up a fundraising project to assist with the costs of participating at the School Sport Australia Championships.
Patrick Walker, CEO – ASF, said:
"The Australian Sports Foundation is delighted to be partnering with School Sport Victoria on this innovative fundraising initiative for Team Vic athletes.
"Sport plays such an important part in developing young Australians - teaching key life skills such as teamwork, resilience and leadership - and we believe that all Australians should be able to enjoy the benefits of sport. This fundraising initiative will help remove financial barriers so that everyone can participate, and we wish all Team Vic members the best of luck."
The ASF has been helping athletes, sporting clubs and organisations fundraise for more than 35 years.
The ASF in partnership with SSV has developed a range of materials to support students selected in a Team Vic team.
