SSV Football Premier League Kicks Off
19/02/2018

The WorkSafe School Sport Victoria Premier League, which encourages participation at the highest level of school football, kicks off on Tuesday, 20 February.

The SSV Premier League has a number of new teams in 2018; Forest Hill College, along with SEDA College and Keilor Downs College make up the new teams for the boys’ competition while Canterbury Girls’ make their first appearance in the girls’ competition.

This premier league championship is a fantastic opportunity for all involved,  born out of our valued partnership with Melbourne Victory and WorkSafe Victoria.  The premier league affords the players an opportunity to compete at the highest level available within school sport, and is a great opportunity for the players to showcase their skills for many to see.

The highlight is without a doubt the grand final, with the winning teams for each pool playing against each other as a curtain-raiser to one of Melbourne Victory A-League games, on the iconic AAMI Park.  Players, fans and family members flock to the ground to cheer for their respective teams in this once in a life time opportunity.
